By burning
Burning is an easy process to remove the stumps. It is mainly used in the villages where stump grinders are not available. Through this process, the persons removing the same make holes on different sides of the stump. After that they put there some potassium nitrate. After putting some water to the chemical they give the fire to burn the stump completely. It is a good process to apply because you can plant another tree at the place of the stump if you want to do so. This process is cost effective, and hence anybody can go about this process.
By chemicals
It is one of the most costly and time consuming process to remove the stumps. In this process, you have to purchase some quantity of potassium nitrate from market. Make holes around the stump, fill with potassium nitrate and pour some water onto it. Wait for a month or more when the stump becomes spongy. Then pull off the stump or you may grind the stamp or you may burn the same as you want. As this is so time consuming, most of the people do not want to apply this process for removal of stumps from their houses.
So before taking any decision to remove the unwanted stumps from your home, you should have to think about the process which you want to apply and take the required precautions to start the process. Stump removal can be easy or hard depending upon the steps you follow.
